"Number porting took a bit longer than others"
The number porting did work in the end, but it felt a bit slower than what I’ve seen friends or other people mention with their providers. Updates were slow too, so I wasn’t always sure what was happening. Not a bad experience overall, just wish the communication had been quicker.

I’ve been using M1 mainly because the plan price is kinda reasonable. It’s not too expensive compared to some others, and I still get enough data every month. Happy with it so far.

"SIM activation was a frustrating wait"
I was excited to get my SIM set up, but that faded fast when the activation dragged on for hours with no clear status update. One minute I thought it might be working, then I was just sitting there annoyed and confused. Support did help eventually, which was a relief, but the whole process still left me frustrated

"Pretty good speed, but I kind of wish it was more consistent"
I’ve been using M1 mostly for mobile data, and the speed is quite good around my area most days. Videos load fast and the hotspot works fine too, so for daily use it’s been okay. The only thing I regret a bit is that it can slow down quite noticeably in crowded places. If not for that, I’d be a lot happier with it overall

"Support got back to me fast"
I was having an issue with my M1 line and messaged support not really knowing how long it would take. Thankfully, they replied quickly and got it sorted without making me go through a bunch of back and forth. felt relieved once it was fixed. Really happy with how responsive they were.

"I’m sure the app shouldn’t be this hard to use"
I don’t know if it’s just me, but the M1 app feels way harder to use than it should. Pages take a while to load, and I sometimes have to tap around just to find basic things. Even checking my bill or changing my plan feels like more steps than necessary. It also hangs now and then, and I end up closing the app and opening it again. Maybe I’m missing something, but overall it hasn’t been a great experience

"Broadband install was such a mess"
The broadband install was a bit of a joke. The installer was supposed to come out, but they never shows up, and I was just sat there waiting around with no proper update...

"I used the roaming while I was overseas..."
I used the roaming while I was overseas and overall it worked well. I got the confirmation email and receipt right away, which was helpful. The connection was fine most of the time, but it did get slow here and there, especially when I was out and about. Not perfect, but it got the job done.

"Internet keeps cutting out at night"
My home broadband drops almost every night, so I keep losing connection when I’m trying to use it. I tried restarting the modem, but it doesn’t really fix anything. Support told me they would monitor it, but so far nothing has changed

I had an internet issue and M1 tech support managed to help me sort it out quickly. The guy I spoke to was patient, explained things in a simple way, and didn’t make me feel rushed, which I appreciated. That said, I still wish the whole process had been a bit smoother from the start. Overall though, the support was good and got the job done.

"At first, I thought I was just..."
At first, I thought I was just misreading my bill, but then it happened again the next month. The amount would show up higher than I expected, with extra charges I couldn’t really make sense of. I called support hoping they’d clear it up, but each time I spoke to someone, I got a slightly different explanation. Now it feels like I have to sit down and inspect my bill every month just to make sure I’m not being overcharged. it’s exhausting, and I’m really not happy with the billing experience.

"I’ve been using M1 for a while..."
I’ve been using M1 for a while now, and the coverage is mostly okay in the usual places like malls, office areas, and MRT stations. For day-to-day use, it generally gets the job done.
But there are still times where the signal suddenly drops quite a bit, especially in older buildings or basement carparks. Sometimes I’ll have bars showing, but the data is still slow, which gets frustrating.

I’ve tried to just live with it, but it does feel like these coverage issues don’t really get much attention. It’s not the worst for the price, but I do wish the connection was more stable so I don’t feel ignored when the same problems keep happening.

"Not much flexibility once you're locked in"
I tried to make a change to my plan halfway through the contract and basically got nowhere. It’s not even about trying to get something special or avoid paying, I just wanted a bit of flexibility because my situation changed. Now it kind of feels like I’m stuck with them until the contract ends
